Fry till the onions turn soft and now add the boiled chick peas. Cook this mixture covered with a little water. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take coriander, garlic, green chillies and salt and grind this to a paste&lt;br /&gt;Take tamarind, dates, sugar and grind to a paste&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Smash the potatoes and add salt, chilly powder, turmeric powder to it. Make small flat balls from this. Heat a pan and place these potato balls on the pan on a very low flame and let them be there till the bottom side turns brown. Turn them and let the other side cook&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Serve the potato pattis with the chick peas . Add the coriander adn tamarind chutney . The solution should not be watery. Should be thick.
